Twittermail works like a charm
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Since a couple of days I’m using twittermail as my main input option service for twitter.
One of my problems with twitter was that when I wanted to post something I was on the road most of the times. When you’re doing something worth mentioning it often involves a location. So my twitter account was pretty much dead.
Now I use my blackberry to send a tweet via email and it directly puts it on my twitter account.
Also there are some cool features with using twittermail:
- Replies to your posts are emailed back to you (so no reloading the page all the time)
- You can receive the last 20 posts of your friends in your mailbox, by sending ‘friends’ in the subject.
- no character restraint (the first 140 will be post on twitter, the rest behind a ‘more’ link.
- Need an alibi? Schedule your post! I love this feature, you can schedule posts so it looks like you’re working at 3 o’clock in the morning :) it might come in handy.
TwitterMail was built by Lennaert Ekelmans (Development) and Bram Kok
(Design) and is based on an OpenIdea by Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten.
