@ Patrick:

Indeed I do. I just checked and it would appear that I have read 77 ebooks in the last 30 months.

I use a Pocket PC and love reading books on it. Not only because I always have my full library (including keywords, annotations, drawings and marked quotes) with me, but also because its so easy.

Sharing the room with a partner, every avid reader knows that the light eventually becomes a problem. Some people simply cannot sleep with the light on, even if its just a reading lamp.

With an eBook reader, I have a back-lit display that can be set to a very low intensity thereby not disturbing anyone :)

Hey Marcel,

No never had trouble with customs. I believe you can import 175 dollar value without any trouble. But if you ship your iPhone with UPS it shouldn't be a problem as well.

Hi Patrick,

Ever had troubles with Dutch customs (Douane) when ordering such an amount of books?

Could easily be the (rest of the) difference.

Best regards,
Marcel

@Kerim Do you really prefer the eBook over a printed version??? Wow. I can imagine it is useful to have the eBook as well (in the end it is searchable for keywords etc.) but that's it for me.

just for kicks, I did a search on the books at my favourite eBooks store:

The 4-Hour Workweek
Amazon price:$11,97
Bol.com price: € 14,99
Fictionwise.com price: $17.95

The Secret
Amazon price:$13,17
Bol.com price: € 16,99
Fictionwise.com price: $16.99

Love is the Killer App
Amazon price:$10,40
Bol.com price: € 13,99
Fictionwise.com price: $9.95

Made to Stick
Amazon price:$16,47
Bol.com price: € 16,99
Fictionwise.com price: $17.95

I didn't find "The 48 Laws of Power", "The Innovators Dilemma", "Unlimited Power"

I'm glad that I added the "in general" part, because, normally, Fictionwise.com is cheaper (especially with the membership) but with business books, it never is.

Still, I'd rather have the eBook version than the printed one.

I switched to eBooks about 30 months ago and havent looked back since.

They are, in general, even cheaper and you can carry a whole library with you, no matter where you are.
