Invitation rights for A Small World, wow!

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Today I got invitation rights for a small world. The super secretive and high end social network. It is funny that something stupid like this actually made me feel happy for 5 seconds.
This is what they wrote:

“You have been chosen to receive special invitation privileges on ASMALLWORLD. Only a limited number of ASW members have these privileges and we are entrusting you to thoughtfully grow and further improve the ASW community.

The selection process involves many variables including geographic location, prior invitations, your activity, the composition and balance of your network, and completeness of your profile. We use these criteria to ensure that ASW members represent the most relevant, interesting and well-informed community on the Internet. It also ensures that the network is balanced in terms of geography, interests, tastes and perspectives.”

And they close the invitation with:

This right is not permanent and is subject to change at any time.

I heard a story that if you blog about asmallworld, you’ll loose all your rights and they might even delete your account. So I thought I give it a try :)

Update: Thank you all for your comments. I only invite people whom I’ve met, that is my policy on social networks. Sorry.

Always nice to be chosen to receive special rights. Blogging will not delete your account, I experienced personally, but of course I was only positive :)

How do you like ASW as social network? Do you visite ASW regularly?

@edie if you like to widen your horizon I would recommend facebook or hyves (depending on where you’re based).

    Hi,

I have two friends in ASW, but they don’t have invitation privileges.
I was wondering if anyone could send me an invitation or let me know how to get invited?

    Thanks.

Now, as an inviter, does that mean people you invite can join, or do you and 49 other people have to invite someone before they can actually join?

    To Whom it May Concern:

My name is Jenavee Sherwood and I am awfully interested in becoming a member of the exclusive on line community. I have attended many of It’s a Small World gatherings and have met some fascinating people of which I would love to continue networking with. Moreover, my sister Eugenia Sherwood is a member of this on line community as are many of my colleagues here at Viacom, Los Angeles, CA.

I would greatly appreciate It’s a Small World or anyone with invitation rights extending out an invitation to me.

Many thanks for your time and consideration in me.

    Sincerely,

    Jenavee.Sherwood@hotmail.com

Hello, I suggest you to ask your friends for an invitatiom, I’m sure nobody would invite people who doen’t know. You waste your time asking and asking, I’m on asmallworld, I’ve many friends there, but if you know just one or two people why you wanna join it? I think facebook is better for you.
    Bests,
    A.
